If you continue to feel dizzy afterward, please take sufficient rest in the recovery room before returning home.

Sedatives used for sedative endoscopy may affect breathing, blood pressure, etc. in some cases, so they may not be applicable to people who are elderly, have pulmonary dysfunction, heart disorders, kidney dysfunction, cirrhosis, are severely obese, or have acute illnesses.

Three days before the test, be sure to eat only white rice, avoid mixed grain rice and black rice, and avoid foods such as vegetables and fruits with seeds (melon, grapes, strawberries, watermelon, etc.).
The day before the test, eat porridge for lunch and fast for dinner.

If debris appears in your stool after taking the enema, you should drink more water. If the bowel cleansing is not complete, an accurate test cannot be performed, so please take it in the correct way and with plenty of water for an accurate test.

Those undergoing colonoscopy while sleeping are not permitted to drive themselves. Public transportation or a driver is required.

If you are taking anticoagulants (aspirin, warfarin, coumadin, diclopidin, clopidogrel, dipyridamole, Pretal, etc.), there is a risk of bleeding during polyp resection or biopsy, so you should consult your doctor in advance and stop taking them for about a week before the examination.

If you are taking medication or insulin injections for diabetes, you may experience hypoglycemia due to fasting, so please stop on the day and notify the staff in advance to help expedite the process.

If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, please change the date as testing is not possible.

On the day of the examination, please remove any nail polish or lipstick.
