A trusted health screening center upholding the founding spirit of Severance… Strengthening personalized health management.

Yonsei Mirae IFC Health Checkup Center has urged citizens eligible for the 2025 national health checkup who have not yet undergone the screening to participate, emphasizing the importance of early detection for the sake of public health.
The national health checkup is an annual public health initiative designed to detect and prevent diseases early; it plays a crucial role in identifying and preventing the worsening of major chronic conditions—such as hypertension, diabetes, liver disease, and gastric or colorectal disorders—based on factors like age, gender, and disease risk.
Baek Seung-hyeok, Director of Yonsei Mirae IFC Health Checkup Center, emphasized, "The national health checkup is the first step toward preventing future illnesses," adding, "It is vital to safeguard your precious health by participating within the designated period rather than putting off the screening."
Meanwhile, the 'Busan Mirae IFC Health Checkup Center' recently changed its name to 'Yonsei Mirae IFC Health Checkup Center,' signaling a new leap forward that upholds the founding spirit of Severance. This rebranding is part of an effort to grow into a trusted medical brand and to strengthen patient-centered medical services and professional expertise.
Guided by the values of Severance—which carries on the legacy of Jejungwon (established in 1885 as Korea's first Western-style medical institution) and is dedicated to "practicing the love of God and the love of humanity"—the Yonsei Mirae IFC Health Checkup Center provides medical services rooted in respect for patients, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous challenge and innovation.
Following the name change, the center continues to serve as a local health screening facility, dedicated to providing reliable screening services. In particular, it enhances the systematic nature and efficiency of its screenings by recommending tests tailored to each individual's health status through personalized consultations and preliminary health assessments.
Hospital Director Baek Seung-hyuk stated, "As we make a fresh start as the Yonsei Mirae IFC Health Screening Center, we will continue to improve and evolve, upholding the spirit of Severance to establish ourselves as a trusted screening facility for local residents."
Individuals eligible for the 2025 national health screening can undergo the examination at designated facilities without any out-of-pocket costs until December 31 of this year; eligibility can be verified via the National Health Insurance Service website or customer service center.
